This is a really good relaxing tune you have here, mate. The mixing is good, the flow is good, and it even reminds me of LTJ Bukem.
My only complaint is that the song never really goes anywhere. It does build up, but it doesn't build up enough. Maybe there isn't enough variation?
I'd also like to hear a bit more bass, but that's just my opinion.
Keep up the good work, Nav!
Thank you. It's a big compliment to hear that it sounds like LTJ Bukem. He's one of my biggest influences as a DJ and producer. I can never seem to mix a better set than his Mixmag Live! set.
This was a very uplifting House tune, mate. The wah-wah effect on the chords certainly kept me interested.
My only comments about this song is that it doesn't have a strong bass. I only hear frequencies from the low mids to the highs. If you could fix that, this track will sound crispy and clean like hell.
Have a good one.
It's not bad...
The instrumentation is okay, and you got a clean mix. However, all I got to say is that the melody and chord progression sounds very similar to the epic sax guy. Anyone?
You know what?
That's one of the best basses I've ever heard created in FL Studio. It's too bad that you cut the drop too quickly. I was really getting into it!
I would consider putting more phaser effects with different synth stabs here and there during the drop. That will add more variation and you will be able to keep the drop going. Lastly, there needs to be more low EQ on the bass. It doesn't sound "dark" enough to me.
You got some sick stuff here man. I wish you could finish it. Also, I could easily see this song being remixed into Goa Trance after the buildup. Shweetness!
THX man. I probably will finish it eventually after the contest, it seems to be lacking lots of mids and stuff the more I listen.
